mengenal penyakit tuberkulosis paru gejala, diagnosis, dan penanganan                            sumateraekspres.id - penyakit tuberkulosis (tb) paru mungkin sudah tidak asing lagi di telinga sebagian masyarakat.
penyakit ini disebabkan oleh infeksi bakteri mycobacterium tuberculosis yang menyerang sistem pernapasan, khususnya paru-paru.
akibatnya, pengidap dapat mengalami sesak napas dan batuk kronis yang berkepanjangan.
untuk mendiagnosis tb paru, dokter biasanya akan melakukan beberapa pemeriksaan, termasuk:
1.    tes darah
    tes ini bertujuan untuk mengukur respons sistem kekebalan tubuh terhadap bakteri mycobacterium tuberculosis. hasil tes ini akan menentukan apakah seseorang memiliki tb laten atau aktif.
2.    tes dahak
    jika hasil rontgen dada menunjukkan indikasi tb, tes dahak akan dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis obat yang paling sesuai bagi pengidap.
3.    tes mantoux
    tes ini menggunakan tuberculin skin test (tst), di mana zat tuberkulin disuntikkan di bawah kulit lengan. setelah 48-72 jam, dokter akan memeriksa apakah terjadi pembengkakan di area suntikan.

penyakit tb paru sangat menular dan dapat berakibat fatal. penyebaran bakteri terjadi melalui droplet saat pengidap batuk atau bersin, dan orang lain menghirup percikan tersebut.
gejala yang umum muncul pada pengidap tb paru antara lain:
-    sesak napas
-    batuk yang berlangsung lebih dari 3 minggu
-    batuk berdarah
-    nyeri dada
-    demam dan menggigil
-    mudah merasa lelah
-    penurunan berat badan drastis
-    hilangnya nafsu makan
-    berkeringat di malam hari

tahapan infeksi tb
infeksi tb terbagi menjadi tiga tahap:
1.    infeksi primer
    pada tahap ini, bakteri tb terhirup dan masuk ke paru-paru, mulai berkembang biak di dalam tubuh.
2.    infeksi laten
    setelah bakteri berkembang, sistem kekebalan tubuh melawan infeksi. jika berhasil, bakteri akan "tertidur" dan tidak aktif, sehingga pengidap tidak merasakan gejala.
3.    infeksi aktif
    jika sistem imun tidak dapat mengatasi bakteri, infeksi akan aktif dan menyerang sel-sel sehat di paru-paru, menyebabkan gejala muncul.

penanganan tb paru
penanganan tb paru biasanya melibatkan pengobatan dengan antibiotik khusus selama 6 hingga 12 bulan. pengobatan ini dibagi menjadi dua fase: intensif dan lanjutan.
jika pasien menunjukkan resistensi terhadap obat antituberkulosis, mereka akan menjalani pengobatan lini kedua dengan obat yang lebih kuat.
pencegahan tb dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan vaksin bcg (bacille calmette-guerin) kepada bayi dan anak-anak pada masa imunisasi. vaksin ini sangat penting untuk mencegah infeksi tb sejak dini.
