warga banyuasin ini jual jaringan internet tak sesuai spek dan rugikan ratusan pelanggan                              palembang, sumateraekspres.id - penyidik unit 1 subdit i tipid indagsi ditreskrimsus polda sumsel melakukan pelimpahan tahap dua perkara dugaan pelanggaran penyelenggaraan jaringan telekomunikasi tanpa izin resmi ke jaksa kejati sumsel, kemarin (23/9). 
dalam kasus ini, penyidik menetapkan seorang tersangka bernama harmoko (38), warga kompleks griya anugrah, kelurahan rimba asam, kecamatan betung, kabupaten banyuasin.

dirreskrimsus polda sumsel, kombes pol bagus suropratomo sik melalui kasubdit i tipid indagsi, akbp hadi wijaya st menyebut terungkapnya kasus ini saat penyidik unit 1 subdit i tipid indagsi menerima informasi masyarakat. 
laporan awalnya, diduga ada perusahaan penyedia jasa internet yakni pt mmnet yang merupakan mitra dari pt indonesia trans network (itn) yang menggunakan ips itn untuk diperdagangkan kembali ke konsumen dengan cara ilegal.
total ada sekitar 110 orang warga yang ada di sekitar rumah tersangka harmoko yang menjadi korban karena membeli jaringan internet hasil rekayasa dari tersangka tersebut.
namun, oleh tersangka harmoko bandwitdh (kapasitas jaringan internet) dimanipulasi mulai dari 100 mbps bandwitdh itn, 200 mbps bandwitdh indibizz serta 200 mbps bandwitdh indibizz.
"modus operandi yang dilakukan tersangka yang memiliki toko penjualan alat dan jaringan telekomunikasi ini secara door to door mendatangi warga, menawarkan untuk memasang jaringan internet dengan biaya per bulan berkisar rp150 ribu hingga rp250 ribu per-pelanggan. 
praktik curang itu dilakukan oleh tersangka sejak bulan agustus 2023 hingga mei 2024 dimana tersangka melalui perusahaannya yang bermitra dengan pt itn setiap bulan membayar sebesar rp8 juta.
"belakangan ada keluhan dan pengaduan dari pelanggan karena bandwitdh yang tertera di box modem internet tidak sesuai dengan yang terpasang mengakibatkan jaringan internetnya melambat.

kita meringkus tersangka di rumah sekaligus dijadikan toko di palembang pada 29 mei 2024 lalu," sebut hadi didampingi kanit 1 tipid indagsi ditreskrimsus polda sumsel, kompol hadi sutriyanto sh mh, kemarin (23/9).
tersangka dijerat melanggar pasal 47 jo pasal 11 ayat (1) jo pasal 7 ayat (1) uu ri no 36 tahun 1999 tentang telekomunikasi yang telah diubah dalam pasal 71 angka 10 undang-undang ri nomor 6 tahun 2023 tentang penetapan peraturan pemerintah pengganti undang-undang nomor 2 tahun 2022 tentang cipta kerja menjadi undang-undang.
