sma bsi palembang raih kemenangan manis, angkat trofi champions di aza 3x3 competition 2024 kategori putra                            sumateraekspres.id - sma bsi palembang mencatatkan debut gemilang di ajang aza 3x3 competition 2024 kategori putra dengan berhasil merebut gelar juara.
mereka berhasil mengalahkan sekolah palembang harapan (sph) dalam pertandingan final yang digelar di gor dempo, jakabaring sport city (jsc), pada sabtu (24/8).
pertandingan final aza 3x3 competition 2024 kategori putra yang merupakan bagian dari event honda dbl with kopi goodday 2024 south sumatera ini berlangsung dengan tensi tinggi. kedua tim saling melancarkan serangan dan memperkuat pertahanan, sehingga skor tetap imbang 2:2 hingga paruh waktu.

keinginan kuat untuk meraih gelar juara di aza 3x3 competition 2024 membuat kedua tim tidak mengendurkan serangan maupun pertahanan. akibatnya, beberapa kali terjadi pelanggaran dari kedua tim.

tim sma bsi palembang memanfaatkan kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh pemain sph. muhammad fatih yang ditugaskan untuk mengeksekusi lemparan bebas (free throw) berhasil menambah satu poin, memperkuat posisi timnya.
dengan penuh percaya diri, muhammad fatih bersama aurel revalino, zaki novran saputra, dan faeyza gadi w, kembali menambah dua poin melalui tembakan jarak jauh, menjadikan skor 5:2.
meskipun tertinggal, tim sph tidak menyerah dan berhasil menambah satu poin dalam tiga menit terakhir, mengubah skor menjadi 5:3.
namun, pada waktu tambahan (injury time), peluang menambah poin melalui lemparan bebas tidak berhasil dimanfaatkan oleh leon ethan tandri, davin darius zebe, christian steffano, dan kenzo alvino, sehingga skor 5:3 bertahan hingga akhir pertandingan.
dari total 5 poin yang diraih oleh sma bsi palembang, 3 poin di antaranya disumbangkan oleh kapten tim, muhammad fatih, 1 poin oleh aurel revalino yang dinobatkan sebagai mvp aza 3x3 competition 2024 kategori putra, dan 1 poin lagi oleh faeyza gadi.
"alhamdulillah, kami berhasil meraih gelar juara di debut awal tim putra di aza 3x3 competition 2024," ujar muhammad fatih.
ia mengakui bahwa meskipun berhasil memenangkan pertandingan, timnya belum bermain maksimal akibat tekanan tinggi di partai final yang membuat para pemain sempat gugup.

"kekompakan dan saling mengenal karakter satu sama lain belum maksimal, ego masing-masing pemain juga masih tinggi," tambahnya.
aurel revalino, yang menjadi pemain kunci dalam serangan dan pertahanan tim sma bsi palembang, berhasil meraih gelar most valuable player (mvp) di aza 3x3 competition 2024.
"ini adalah mvp dan gelar juara pertama bagi saya. tentu sangat bersyukur. semoga tahun depan kami bisa tampil dengan tim penuh," kata aurel yang bercita-cita masuk tim nasional basket.
sementara itu, pelatih basket sma bsi palembang, tedy martha reza, menambahkan bahwa tim basket putra sma bsi palembang sebenarnya disiapkan untuk mengikuti kompetisi dengan tim penuh.
"kami kemarin terkendala waktu, sehingga tidak sempat mendaftar dengan tim penuh. namun tahun depan, kami akan ikut dbl dengan tim putra penuh," tutupnya.
