Personel Satreskrim Polres OKU Timur mendapatkan penghargaan dari Kapolda Sumatera Selatan, Irjen Pol A Rachmad Wibowo, SIK.-Kholid/sumateraekspres.id-

The awards were presented directly by the South Sumatra Police Chief at the Mapolda Sumsel Yard on Monday, June 3, 2024.

"This award will be a motivation for us in carrying out our duties," said AKP Hamsal.

This recognition was given for the unit's success in solving four murder cases in 2023 and uncovering a case of robbery with premeditated murder in March-April 2024.

One notable case was the murder of Rifki Rifaldi, a student of SMPN 2 Belitang, whose body was found in the Pasipatan River on March 29, 2024.

After a week of intensive investigation, the underage suspect, RD (15), was arrested in Sangga Desa, Musi Banyuasin on April 5, 2024.

According to the Family Card (KK), RD is registered in Palembang but resides in Tanjung Mas Village, Semendawai Barat District, OKU Timur.

On the night of the incident, March 25, 2024, the victim met the suspect at his fruit stall in Gumawang Village.

The suspect then planned to take possession of the victim's motorcycle by luring him to Tanjung Mas Village under the pretext of picking duku fruit.

In a secluded location, the suspect struck the victim with a rubber stick until he was weak, tied him up, and drowned him in the river.

After killing the victim, the suspect took the victim's motorcycle and fled to Palembang. However, the suspect was captured by the OKU Timur Police Satreskrim after a few days on the run.

OKU Timur Police Chief, AKBP Dwi Agung Setyono, stated that suspect RD is charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 338 and Article 365 paragraph 3, with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Evidence, including the victim's motorcycle, was found at a mosque in Palembang's Heroes Cemetery, and the suspect is now secured at OKU Timur Police Headquarters.

penghargaan tersebut diserahkan langsung oleh kapolda sumsel di halaman mapolda sumsel pada senin, 3 juni 2024.
 
"penghargaan ini menjadi penyemangat dalam melaksanakan tugas," ujar akp hamsal.
penghargaan ini diberikan atas keberhasilan jajaran satreskrim dalam mengungkap empat kasus pembunuhan pada 2023 dan mengungkap kasus pidana curas yang disertai pembunuhan berencana pada maret-april 2024.
salah satu kasus yang menonjol adalah pembunuhan rifki rifaldi, pelajar smpn 2 belitang yang jasadnya ditemukan di sungai pasipatan pada 29 maret 2024.
setelah penyelidikan intensif selama satu pekan, tersangka yang masih di bawah umur, rd (15), berhasil ditangkap di sangga desa, musi banyuasin pada 5 april 2024.

berdasarkan identitas di kartu keluarga (kk), rd berdomisili di kota palembang namun sehari-hari tinggal di desa tanjung mas, kecamatan semendawai barat, oku timur.
pada malam kejadian, 25 maret 2024, korban bertemu dengan tersangka di lapak jualan tersangka di desa gumawang.

tersangka kemudian merencanakan untuk menguasai sepeda motor korban dengan mengajak korban ke desa tanjung mas dengan alasan mengambil duku.
di lokasi yang sepi, tersangka memukul korban dengan kayu karet hingga lemas, mengikat korban, dan menenggelamkannya di sungai.

setelah membunuh korban, tersangka mengambil sepeda motor korban dan melarikan diri ke palembang.
namun, tersangka berhasil ditangkap oleh satreskrim polres oku timur setelah pelarian selama beberapa hari.
